Exam Results

We will only be satisfied when every single youngster here at Woodlands overachieves. There are areas we are pleased with and others we are not. We will forever reaming innovative, aspirational and realistic in our constant focus for excellence.

School isn't all about exams but we at Woodlands School are proud of what our youngsters achieve.  We are ever striving for more and for each and every one of our young people to not only fulfil but exceed their potential.  As you will see from our results below we are getting better, but as with every school we will not be happy until all have achieved their very best in all areas. 

KS4 Performance Data

2024 Results:

• 60% achieved English and Maths at 9-4, 42% achieved at 9-5.
• 74% achieved 9-4 in English, 60% achieved 9-5 and 19% achieved 9-7.
• 64% achieved 9-4 in Maths, 46% achieved 9-5 and 13% achieved 9-7.
• The Attainment 8 score was 44
• 62% of students entered the full range of EBacc subjects of which 35%
  achieved passes at Grade 4 or above in all subjects.

Key Measures 

Department for Education: “This year, GCSE grading is largely returning to normal in line with plans set out by Ofqual almost two years ago, to ensure qualifications maintain their value and students get the opportunities they deserve.”
