The School Day
Our school day is varied, challenging and stimulating. We aim for all to be physically and mentally exhausted by the time three or four o'clock for some comes around.
By 8.40am all youngsters will be in tutor or assembly for this twenty minute period sets up the day ahead. Year 10 and 11 have morning enhancement in some subjects and on some days from 8.30am. This is a fantastic opportunity to start the day getting straight on with learning.
Break is from 11.05am to 11.25am and both hot and cold food is served.
Lunch is from 1.30pm to 2.10pm, unless you are in Year 7 when you go to lunch at 1.20pm all year. Many extra-curricular clubs are available at lunch and please do take a look at our 'Enrichment Opportunities' section on the right of this tab
Our school day finishes at 3.10pm unless in Year 11 you have a period 6 which will finish at 4.10pm - these are not every day and will be included on individual timetables.
