Post-16 Destinations

Mrs Robertson is our Cultural Capital Coordinator and one of her jobs is to ensure every youngster at Woodlands School is prepared for life beyond Woodlands.

You can see below our NEET (not in employment, education or training) figures for the past years.  Impressive but we are always striving for better.

You will see that there are a great many options when it comes to Post-16.  We have included below local Colleges, Sixth Forms, Apprenticeships and other details to help all with the next stage of the learning journey.

2022-23 Leavers

NEET (Not in employment, education or training): 2.04%

Sustained Destination (Pupils remaining in their school/college/training placement for more than 2 terms after leaving Woodlands School) =97.8%

2021-22 Leavers

NEET (Not in employment, education or training): 10%

Sustained Destination (Pupils remaining in their school/college/training placement for more than 2 terms after leaving Woodlands School) =90%

2020-21 Leavers

NEET (Not in employment, education or training): 10%

Sustained Destination (Pupils remaining in their school/college/training placement for more than 2 terms after leaving Woodlands School) = 90%

2019/2020  Leavers 

NEET (Not in employment, education or training): 2.4%   

Sustained Destination (pupils remaining in their school/college/training placement for more than 2 terms after leaving Woodlands School) = 97.6%.
