Athletics
About the Programme
Our elite athletics programme allows students to refine and develop themselves within their athletics events. The students receive excellent training which can help them develop technically, physically, mentally and tactically within athletics.
The coaches and teachers will have very high expectations for the students involved, pushing them to achieve their potential. This will be highly demanding mentally and physically but gives the students a great start on the road to becoming a dedicated and focused athlete.
The programme has led to many successes including individual and team success in district, County and National events.
What is involved?
Our Elite development programme allows for students to access specific athletics training programs for their development. The program consists of two sessions. One aiming to improve general fitness and a strength and conditioning session. These sessions are tailor to suit the needs of the athlete to ensure they can see progression in their events throughout the year.
